We've teamed up with the moderators of the Five Nights at Freddy's Subreddit to host the FREDDIT JAM game jam on Game Jolt!

Let's give a special shout out to the Reddit moderators for all of their hard work putting this jam together!

Without further ado...

Develop a fan game based on any of your favorite Five Nights at Freddy's games or characters. We will be announcing a surprise theme at the start of the jam on June 7th for you to incorporate in your game. So don't start making stuff just yet! You'll have until 11:39pm ET on August 7th to finish, upload your game and submit it here on Game Jolt.

The voting process is simple! The participants of the jam will vote on their favorite fan games and we'll present the top 10 games to a team of judges to pick the winner!

The reward for this jam is a special trophy on your Game Jolt profile and having your fangame pinned on the subreddit for everyone to see! We'll be announcing more prizes throughout the jam!

For the winning team, everyone will get the trophy on their own Game Jolt profiles so nobody gets left out!

Winners will be announced around a week after the jam has concluded!

RULES

• Submissions start on Tuesday, June 7th at Midnight ET and end on Sunday, August 7th at 11:59PM (EasternTime).

• The game should incorporate the surprise theme that will be announced at the start of the jam on Tuesday, June 7th at Midnight ET.

• The game should be playable on Windows operating systems.

• The game and all of its visual aspects must be made during the jam development period. All assets must be created by you and please don't just copy the original games or characters.

• You can use existing tools, engines, languages and programming libraries to develop your game.

• You can use pre-made music and sound assets (assuming you have permission or a license).

• Collaborations and group efforts are welcome! Find teams in the Questions channel!

• One entry per person is allowed.

• Your game must be free.

• You may add images and description to your Game Jolt game page anytime!

• Feel free to squash those bugs and polish your build after the voting period has concluded.

Be cool. No racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, religious prejudice, or other forms of hate. No personal attacks. No pornographic content. Nothing illegal.

Keep in mind that Game Jolt will remove any games Scott Cawthon asks to be taken down!
