Meet the Taitann!

(Ti-tan)

This is the largest alien species. Only slightly bigger than an elephant.

They're solitary creatures, only socializing with one another during mating season.

Their hunting strategy mainly involves patience, once something comes close, they snatch them up in their mouth.

If it's small enough, they'll even lure them in their mouths by changing the scent of their breath.

For something of that size, they're surprisingly fast.

The Taitann is an endangered species. The only thing saving them from extinction is the fact that they hide deep inside of crevices in caves.

They live in caves, and they will dig tunnels, some leading to large, open spaces. It's kinda like what's going on in an anthill, but it's for one giant creature.
