i've been lurking on gamejolt every now and then for a while now but haven't really posted anything other than shitposts and i've finally just realized that this site isn't fun anymore. gamejolt isn't what it used to be. the community isn't the same, mods seem to be becoming more and more corrupt everytime you turn around, many people that were my friends on here have either gotten banned or quit the site entirely, there's still a lot of drama, etc. i sort of want to start fresh, on a new account with a completely different name and leave this one to rot. my old posts are low effort, and they aren't exactly worth keeping around. for now, i'll continue to use this account occasionally to lurk around on the site and click on random stuff, maybe make a post every couple of months, but other than that, i think i'm done with gamejolt on this account. to all of my friends i've made on here, and people who are still following me, thank you for being awesome people.

if my account ever does go offline for more than a year or so, just assume that i've either moved on from this corner of the internet, or i've started a new account under a new name (if i start a new account i'd probably say so here).

i don't know why i felt the need to post this, maybe because it's kind of sad to see a site that was full of cool and interesting people change so much? still not sure, i just feel kinda sad when i log onto this place.

to my friends that haven't added me elsewhere already, please do! i'd still love to talk to yall, my discord is robotic__ (with 2 underscores!) (or Robotic#8040, if that doesn't work lmao).

to the people that took the time to read this, thank you. i don't know why, but it felt like a weight had been lifted off of me while i was typing this (which sounds super corny, but that's really the only way to describe it).
