One, it is your FIRST year of middle school! Congrats!! But with this comes a lot of responsibility. You’re going to have more classes and more work and teachers. That just means you’ll have to work harder!

Two, do not stress about your appearance. Literally EVERYONE around you is going through puberty as well, you’re GOING to feel awkward, you’re GOING to feel weird, you’re GOING to have voice cracks! That’s fine! Don’t be embarrassed!

Three, don’t let the eight graders intimidate you. They’re not that much cooler than you. If they’re bullying you, that just means they’re blinded by so called “superiority”

Four, DO 👏 YOUR 👏 HOMEWORK 👏 OR 👏 YOU 👏 WILL 👏 REGRET IT!!!!!! Don’t push it off or stall! DO IT!!!!!!

Five, it is OKAY to feel awkward, it is OKAY to feel uncomfortable, it is OKAY to be unsure. HAVE FUN!!!!! This is one of the most fun years, since it’s pretty low pressure and not a lot of homework compared to 7th and 8th grade!

Six, drama is just starting to happen!
