Last week, I was working on the Chara fight. Added the attack styles, wrote the dialogs, etc. However, I realised in the process, that there is nothing, that would start the story. Chara is determined to destroy the world (and have a good reason for that, not like some other villains), but Frisk is more determined to stop her. Then what? There is no real conflict. The story cannot even begin with this.
So, yesterday I started rewriting some part of it. The goal is, to Chara overpower Frisk during the fight. Forcing Frisk to make a very risky move.
Hopefully, I won’t have any kind of writer’s block. I really want to make Chara a good villain, not a copy from a B category movie. So, I’ll start writing the story for her, and finish the fight and if I find it good enough, I’ll move to the next main character:
Flowey.
