Backrooms Description: Frowners Vs Smilers

FROWNERS:

Frowners, known as Entity 3.5, they had similar looks to Smilers, but they had differences between the two entities: Frowners had upside down frown, almost like Partypoopers. Smilers had smile, almost resemble just like Partygoers.

They don’t attack Wanderers unless if being provoked by their Level Frown, or have negative comments about them. They don’t like lights nor flashlights, just like Smilers do, and will attempt to get away from lights as possible.

If they spotted Smilers, they’ll attack them on sight, and will attempt to turn them one of them as possible. They had the same incredible speed, just like Smilers do.

Most often that Frowners would like to stay in the dark places and stick together, rather be out open by themselves. They can be useful and helpful, since they do give some tips to Wanderers and warn them about the danger, but also Smilers, too.

SMILERS:

Smilers, known as Entity 3, or nickname as: NIGHT HUNTERS, are intelligent and highly dangerous entities and can be found through several levels or more in Backrooms.

They stay in dark, can pose extreme dangerous threat for those who come across them. For some reason, they can change forms and in any shape if needed.

Despite of their appearances, they had white glowing smile, which can glow in the dark and can easily to be seen through darkness. They can easily immune to physical harm, as well can phase through physical matter. They all had weaknesses, which is: Light. Amount of lights will easily repelling force on them, pushing them away from it.

Smilers had ability to cooperate with each other and able to form small or large packs. Additionally, they display many sadistic tendencies, often verbally taunting and torturing their victims for amusement.

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

A sneak peek at the new OST, can you guess what this song will be used for? 🤔

ooh yes..
