We found a vulnerability on our compiler, and on one of our specific libraries that is used on in-house builds of the game. (Often called Playtesting Builds.)
As an experiment, we wanted to add Netplay, basically a versus mode where one person could be the guard, and the other one an animatronic, but while doing this, we discovered that our networking methods were heavily insecure.
What do we mean by this?
Your device, which could be a windows desktop, an android phone, or a linux desktop, could be affected by things like RATs (Remote Access Trojan).
Fixing this, and securely removing this mode and it's dependencies will take around 3-4 days, moving the release date to, ironically, June 6 or June 7.
We're sorry for our stupidness, because yes, we admit it, this experiment was product of our stupidness because we can't spend at least 1 day without doing something absurd.
Also yes, if you have the demos downloaded from this page, you're safe, as they do not include the networking libraries or code, so do not be worried about it.
We're heavily sorry.
~Elementz.
