BAD NEWS FOR THE GAME


Ok, so first I decided to cut a lot of parts of the last half of the game, as I have almost completely lost motivation due to burnout, along with just trying to structure the thing in a way so that the story makes sense. Also to clarify, the remaster of the first half of the game is done. Along with all the graphics and level gimmicks for the tails section. However the thing that has been taking too much of my time, and is the cause of the burnout, is making the level design and implementing the ideas I have, along with the OST ( since I have been making this game without help mainly due to concerns of it being leaked ) Along with implementing a functioning save system ( as I was originally going to include it in the Amy demo, however I had to cut it at that point due to it failing to work correctly ).

However to sum it up, the game is on a indefinite hiatus. NOT CANCELLED. This also means that it is unlikely I will make the September 2026 release

Next up

Chapter 2 has been beaten. And I am actually scared due to 4 jumpscares occurring.

Cutscene 1 updated ( Also I don't have the Tails voice lines yet, so its just Sonic who talks )

Testing multiple zooms

Random scaling stuff for the Tails and Knuckles duo. ( Also I am not done the survival routs yet, as I am doing this to avoid hell later on )

Did I forget to mention there will be Sonic 06 styled rival fights. ( Blaze can't attack yet but she follows Sonic and will constantly look at him )

By the way, the game is supposed to be a cancelled compilation of the genesis sonic games, so here is a WIP of the new menu

I am shocked how close I came to dying by falling into the pit.

Text boxes are getting a upgrade along with some other cutscene stuff. ( Also Tails has witnessed something horrific )
