I've gotten a good handful of the joke endings (one of which I encountered on accident this playthrough when leaving Pascals for the first time but going the wrong way lmao. Not sure if I'd gotten that before but it was both funny and mildly frustrating, but you can never be too mad to have to run around more in this game since it's such a joy to just- well- do that!
I don't know if I'll go for all the joke endings or not, but they aren't very important so I probably won't? At least compared to quests and actual proper endings.
Oh, and don't worry, I won't spoil anything here. The only thing I've spoiled is that "Pascal" is the name of a character and you can get a joke ending if you go the wrong way after meeting him the first time lol (so be sure to save!)
Also not really a spoiler, but I know if you keep continuing your save there's still even more, even after the "final ending".
Nobody tell me how to get there though, I want to find it for myself. I know a little too much already... although if I didn't know, would I be as motivated to try to find it?
I don't think so.
Anyways, I f*cking love this game, so if you like atmospheric philosophy scifi with a tinge of fantasy/myth vibes in places with existential questions, crazy plot twists if you keep going, incredibly intense emotions, obviously lots of anime vibes, and gut wrenching explorations on the horror of war and the human condition (and human conditioning)-
All packaged in a genuinely fun and unique and highly-repayable game-
It's one of those games you just gotta play before you "become as gods"!
If you know you know 😉
(also, Operator 60 is the best)
