Killer Koobs

Been rewriting the data structure to allow items with different functionalities to work in the same inventory system. I was sort of stuck on this for a while but now it should be easy to add in a bunch of new stuff besides just firearms, e.g. grenades.


So these yellow koobs here have no functionality, but they inherit from the same generic item class as the pistol, so they can be picked up and swapped around interchangeably.

Besides this I've also been expanding on the shop interface and weapon handling with more than two guns.

But yea next post should be a lot sooner now that I've got this part out of the way.

not really sure what to make it do now that ive made it :/

Finally got the grenades working, they still need some balancing but for now they do around twice the damage as the ones fired from grenade launchers. In comparison they are also lighter and have better CQB applications due to the controllable fuse time.

I've started working on a basic layout for the new map, along with some other assets. I'll try to post something here every few days.

I should clarify all the equipment stuff won't be in the game until the next major update, which I'm thinking will be around October.

I would like to put out something smaller before then though, as a separate package.
