Betty Boop's very first design is now part of the public domain, so I did my own take on her!

Technically, this character is not directly named Betty Boop. This unnamed poodle was created as a love interest for Bimbo the dog in the Fleischer Studios animated short titled "Dizzy Dishes" all the way back in 1930. She would make more appearances in other Fleischer animations and be given the name Betty Boop, and her design went through several iterations before landing on her iconic human appearance we see today. As of January 1, 2026, this original dog-like design of Boop, along with everything else in "Dizzy Dishes", is considered public domain and has no copyright attached to it.
