Where am I at right now in development?
Its been a good week since the last post, where I showed an early version of what Popgoes will look like if he gets added into the game. After finishing that character off, I started working on a major part of the game itself. Pizzeria Mode
First thing to say about Pizzeria Mode is that its going well!
So far, the system for navigating the Catalogue works just as intended, the main thing right now is taking the time to designing a bunch of different things like different: Furniture, Attractions (like arcade machines), Animatronics and Decorations.
So far I just finished off adding in a second arcade machine, and I already have the first stage, table and chairs added in aswell.
As these are being added in, I am making these items all work with the Blueprint Mode, which allows the player to move things around and move them back into their inventory if they want to. (AKA Edit Your Pizzeria)
The main challenge with developing this mode, is more about the time I need to work on it.
The Big Announcement -
As a college student, currently on their last few weeks of summer holidays, I will have to put my time into other things (other projects but for my college).
So, I've decided that I would like to release an early demo of the game, and is planned to release before I go back to college around the first week of September, possible earlier by a week or few days.
What will the demo contain?
Well, my current idea, is to have it as if you are working your first week at Freddy's. So, you will go through 7 in game days of attending the day shift (Arcade Mode), feeding as many children as you can, the more you feed, the more score and money you get.
The score you gain is directly tied to how much money you earn, which can be spent in Pizzeria Mode to build your very own pizzeria!
Purchase things from Tables and other furniture to even Arcade machines and your very own animatronics!
In summary, you will be able to play through the main mode (arcade mode) as Freddy Fazbear himself, featuring powerups, along with additional challenges that will make the game more harder as you go. Then, once you have completed enough rounds, continue to Pizzeria Mode and spend your hard earned cash on a variety of items from the Catalogue!
The Planned release for the demo is beginning of September (I can't give an exact date as I want to make sure there is enough testing done in time, so I can fix any potential bugs with the game)

What can we see in the future?
I want to continue working on this game, things such as the Parts and Service feature are things I would love to implement after the demos release in a more full release state. I really think a character selector feature, where you get to play as you favourite FNAF characters would be an amazing feature.
Additionally, I want to continue updating Arcade and Pizzeria mode with new powerups, glitches, new enemies potentially, along with more catalogue items, with more animatronics, more decorations and just more customization for the player in general.
The ultimate goal for this game is to create a definitive Five Nights at Freddys Pizzeria Sim. Heavily focused on customization and the immense fun I and others will hopefully have in Arcade Mode.
