Big news for Monolith Soft fans (Xenoblade). They're hiring more staff to work on a new RPG directed by Tetsuya Takahashi that is "taking on many new challenges compared to previous Monolith Soft titles."

The portion of the studio that works on the Xenoblade games will be handling this assignment, as well, sooooo I wonder if it'll be another new entry to that series, or if they're going to surprise us with an entirely new IP?

The source is all in Japanese, but translated details are surfacing around the internet, so keep an eye out if interested.

Process of one of my Pikachu drawings. This is a perfect example of when I start losing myself in art land, but suddenly snap back to basics when I realize "Oh right, I have no time!" You'll see what I mean.

Toem is a great game. I illustrated a scene I really liked.

I set out to make a teacup for a project I'm working on, but then I spaced out and did weird things with the shaders... LOL

Anyway, back to work for me.

Hope you're all doing well, and have a good weekend!

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

Yaaay, I mastered all of @SkiiRyu 's stickers! She is awesome, by the way, so give her a follow if you haven't already.

Haven't decided which stickers I'll collect next... So many creators... Ummm... Hmmm... Uuuhhh... This is going to take some time.

@VuVuuInc is a Jolter to Watchand solo game dev who created 6 games including Tiny Terraces! Follow @VuVuuInc before the quest ends on July 22 and you'll get Coins!

I finished my permadeath run in No Man's Sky and got the To Live Forever achievement! Apparently only 0.8% of NMS players on Steam have that achievement...

It'll be nice going back to all the conveniences of my main save file again.

This background was made in Blender with a little optimization and colour tweaking in Krita.

I really like making minimal designs that call back to 80s/90s "future" mographs you might see on PC monitors and other displays in movies/animations.

Follow @Finji on Game Jolt!

They publish a bunch of cool video games and make some themselves too! They're currently working on developing Usual June (https://gamejolt.com/games/usualjune/999157).

Here's a little update on a wallpaper / fabric pattern I was working on in Inkscape a while back—you might remember. Made a lot of different colour options. I'm happy with how they look.
