That's right, there's news. You might have noticed this account has undergone a psuedo-transformation. It's now known as the Spicy Sweets Dev Team. This will be the group name that all of our* games are released under going forward.

*all of @spiral_twister (formerly ShadedSunrose)'s games and any games of team members who want to release them under the dev team name.

SOLAR SWITCHUP ANNOUNCEMENT

We're doing a 1.1 update for Solar Switchup! The details will be teased prior to release, but this update is essentially a functional rework of the game. It has a new gameplay loop where the backup power is less of a focus in the earlier nights, generators are more prominent in later nights, and more cameras are used. We've spent a lot of time fine-tuning everything and I hope it's something everyone reading can look forward to.

I also want to confirm that we're going to try to do chapter 2. I will not guarantee that it will be finished, but we've laid a lot of the foundation for future chapters. I can't confirm much about chapter 2 right now, but the 3 things I will say are that the roster is 13 characters, the "office" will be 3D, and it is NOT a FNaF/S 2 clone. That's all I have to share on the topic at the moment.

"Who's the character in the dev team's icon?"

Her name is Spice. She's a fox and she likes candy canes!

"Why do the rebrand now?"

The rebrand was initially planned to be right before the Solar Switchup update, but unfortunately something came up and I decided to do it early because I wasn't really happy with my profile representing my old identity. I've moved on from that stuff and want to reflect that by killing the Sunrose persona entirely.

"Why update Solar Switchup Chapter 1?"

Chapter 1 was released in an unfinished state due to community issues and outside pressures directed towards me. I'm rectifying that by actually finishing the chapter, and also taking it as an opportunity to address some of the criticism chapter 1 received. I can't fix everything without completely remaking it from scratch, but I wanted chapter 1 to at the very least be considered passable, which it wasn't for many people when it released, and I apologize for that.

"Will there be other games than FNaS on your profile?"

Yes! I can't share details since it's still early, but we're also working on Evolution Execution. For those who don't know, this is a passion project of mine that's been stuck in development hell since early 2018, meaning it's been over 8 years. I want to finally give this project a chance to shine, and I can't wait to share more with you all when things finally kick off with it.

"Will you be updating any of your other games?"

Nope. I lost the files for most of my stuff and even if I still have something like an old build like I did for Solar Switchup, I think it's better to put FNaS 4 Halloween and Remix Collection to rest.

"Will FNaS 3-5 2.0, Maniac Mania remake or Phantom Frenzy be finished?"

No. Phantom Frenzy, or more accurately in this case RockClones, might come back as something else at some point, but it's in an early draft phase and I don't want anyone getting their hopes up about it just yet.
