Calm Until Night Time - Batch RPG

Biggest and best just got bigger and better

The world’s favourite batch file RPG is back with a Ginormongous update!

Fasten your figurative seatbelt, prepare your literal anus and pray that you’ve got Windows 7 because this is a game will have you glued to your seats for days.

The focus of this last development phase has been centred around player experience. The results are a 50% cut in loading times, more cutscenes/animations and a couple of new characters. Alongside this I’ve done plenty of balancing for all different types of characters, and the obligatory bug fixes!

Unfortunately for all you modern folk, I’ve only been able to test this game in Windows 7. I’ve had conflicting reports about it’s performance on Windows 8 so give it a whirl and see how you get on, but I can make no promises for non-Windows 7 computers. Microsoft tend to change the batch syntax ever so slightly between Windows versions and in some cases it’ll cause the game to fail. Don’t hate the player, nor the game, hate Microsoft.

Happy gaming my batch brethren!

Nick

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698
