School has been kicking my ass so I don't have a lot to show right now, hence why this is such a short devlog.
Special birthday preview
Like i promised, here's a special preview for my birthday, that being a beta version of phase 3's intro!
Game Progress
If you've seen my other posts, you'll know i was busy with a variety of things in the last few months. Outside of school, i was also looking for a different engine.
I wanted to use Clickteam Fusion, but it costs €500 to get the version that has a text object, so clickteam was a no-go.
Next i tried Gamemaker Studio and it's actually affordable. While i was learning gamemaker i realized that it's probably better suit for a different fangame that's on a much larger scale. But i'll only start focusing on that once this game is done.
Anyways, i realised CYF (the engine i've been using before) is fine for this game, so i won't switch engines for this game.
Back on topic, not a whole lot of progress has been made since the last devlog. i've kind of been on hiatus for a while, but that ended a few days ago and now i'm back to working.
I actually figured out how to initiate a miss and i'm trying to swap out faces during dialogue. Emphasis on trying.


if you're asking where sans' body went, it's because for some reason i can't change sprites during an animation, i'm still trying to find a fix for this.
I also got a new gaster blaster library by AllyTally which goes in more than 4 directions, wow! The bad news is that i have to redo the attacks that were already shown before, but it'll be way better.
