BLAME 0.6 Update Soon.

Thanks to everyone who has played the latest version of BLAME! All the feedback I’ve gotten so far has really helped me get a feel for what needs to change in the next version. So, if you’ll oblige me, I’d like to share some of the changes that are coming in the next update:

-Achievements which unlock “Top Secret” features. A little secret [REDACTED], a little secret [ALSO REDACTED], and even this awesome [ICANTTELLYOU].

-A flipping MAP. After watching some of the awesome Let’s Plays, I’ve realized a map system would make things so much easier. So yeah, I’ve put one in there.

-More battery life. Daveosity is a pretty cool Let’s Player. So is EFXtheGamer. And Striddy. Okay, everyone who has played the new version of BLAME is a pretty cool Let’s Player, but I realized that they didn’t have enough battery power. So I’ve traded out the dollar store D batteries for some Energi… Non-copywritten good batteries.

-A few behind-the-scenes tweaks. These affect the game’s difficulty, the mouse movement, and the way doors function. I can’t go into techno-babble, because it might ruin some of the mystique, but these things have all gotten some tweaks.

-Tutorial for new players. I thrust you guys into this very dark and unforgiving world without even explaining to you that you have useable items in your inventory. I’m such a mean guy. Hopefully with this new one-time tutorial will help new players become familiar with the game before they go exploring.

-I’ve made the Key Items stand out a little more, as well as the generators. They weren’t labeled before, so I have a feeling that some players didn’t know where the generators were.

So yeah, that’s all I can think of. Or, at least, all I can mention at this point in time. Hopefully the new additions are welcomed and help make the experience a little easier.

Thanks to everyone who has played the latest version, and thanks to everyone who will play the next version. Blame now has over 6,000 views across multiple sites, and that’s really cool!

Version 0.6 should be released in the next day or two. See you guys then.

i may or may not make an full art of some person or i may just leave this like that-

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
