Blessing + Loyal Doodles

(+Talking about Eros/Aaron's design)


Warm-up before working on a couple of art trades. I kinda miss drawing ol' Eros.

He was intended to be a quick intro enemy (along with the others), I didn't think much of their design and I didn't think that I would make them play a role in the story afterward. I decided to stick to the old design for a while until V2, which later on changed to be a remake.

Also Eros looking similar to someone else we all know and love is purely coincidental. I didn't realize that for some time and was too late to change it.

Later on, after I came up with his new design, it took me a while and someone to point it out that I've forgotten to draw the flame on his shirt. And again, I was already too far with the art and sprites that I couldn't bring myself to copy-paste the pattern on the entire sprite sheets.

But he looks cooler now so I'm happy with that. :D

Ta-da, official server for everything Blessing related! The server is read-only, so you don't have to worry about interaction. Progress report comes out every week on Monday in the server.
