Bonnie clearly doesn't like being watched. It's been seen in the VHS teasers and gameplay features like him breaking cameras when you stare at him for too long. Once you look away however, he'll be able to move.

It's been heavily hinted at that Bonnie would be able to remove his face plate in Fnaf Plus, so my idea is that if you continue to stare at him for too long, he'd detach his face plate, allowing him to move regardless of if you look at him or not. You get 3 strikes. Allow him to break 3 cameras and he will take it off.

The intern would probably say something about how people need to stop recording the shows as Bonnie freezes in place when recorded.
