Brutal Dwarves - Dev Log 6 - More gameplay mechanics and a new UI!


Game is becoming better and better every day!

Fortifications

Battlefields will have some fortifications now - you can try to take a long way around or just smash through them.

Special items

Enemies can also wear special items like shields for damage reduction. But one very powerful blow will make them loose it.

Improved UI

Completely reworked UI prototype - now it’s really easy to manage your brutal dwarven squad.

Alpha demo

Demo is still in development - want to make this game as fun as possible first :) But pre-alpha release is a matter of a week or two.

Next goals

Next goal is to implememnt more really fun physics - it’s so cool to smash some enemies using environment or just throw them from the cliff using wind :)

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
