This devlog isn't going to be as major as the past few ones, just more of a small announcement + Help Wanted post.
So, if it wasn't clear enough, our level designing department is living on a prayer at the moment. Right now, the only active designer carrying things forward is @AnthoJolter (huge shoutouts to him, he’s honestly the reason this game is even pushing ahead). But the pressure of potentially having to handle every level alone is understandably a lot, and I’ve already tried reaching out to other designers with little luck.
That’s why we’re officially putting out a Help Wanted call:
We’re looking for at least one level designer who shares the same design philosophy we’re aiming for, something in line with the flow and speed of the Sonic Rush series. If you're more than willing to contribute to this game that’s really trying to deliver that energy, we’d love to have you on board!
If you’re interested, feel free to reach out in the comments or Discord DM's. Any help is greatly appreciated, both for the sake of the project and so our current designer doesn’t completely lose his sanity.
Now for the actual progress report, we’ve got a fair share of previews to show off how his chapter is shaping up, and while I don’t want to spoil too much just yet, let’s just say there’s a new stage on the horizon… one we’ve been calling Nightmare Garden. 👀
