Alas, having ported the game to HTML5 there have been some bugs that have appeared (that didn’t appear in test mode) such as the shotgun not working, starting with no ammo, and some sprites not appearing on the title screen.
I will address these over the coming days [and post when a new version is up] but in the meantime thanks for playing!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
