I’ve encountered so many bugs trying to finish this update, mainly with my computer’s soundcard being outdated and causing problems with the audio clips, but I finished it and it is available for download now. It’s not easy trying to get everything to work when you’ve got an outdated laptop, but honestly I love this computer’s ability to pull through almost anything I throw at it and how resilient it is. I used GDevelop for this game, but I have not changed it in the description because it is easier to leave it the way it is and people find it easier to spot that way. I don’t want this game getting lost in the abyss of games that are updated every day. LOL.
Finally, I’d like to thank Redassasin101 and the rest of the team for their constant faith in me when I had none in myself, their resilience and their trust in me. You guys stuck around even when I didn’t, and that means a hell of a lot to me. Thank you so very much. The proceeds from this game will be split among the team, and my share will be going toward improving my computer and my game creation arsenal. I’m hoping to buy RPG Maker 2003.
To those who have stuck with me and stayed until this point and wish to continue staying, I appreciate and value each and every one of you. It means so much to me that you commented, watched and waited for an update so patiently and I hope that it is everything you wanted in this game; to me, this is the absolute best I can offer given my current skillset. I have not spent much time on artwork, so forgive the poor quality characters, but I wanted to get a quick release done. I am able to improve them gradually, and will be scanning in characters to my computer.
This is my longest devlog yet, so I’m going to close with yet another grateful thank you to everyone who’s stuck around and even those who didn’t. I thank everyone who’s ever looked or read about my game because you’re what made it possible for me to finish it, for me to have faith in myself and get it done for the most part. I will be continuing to update it as often as I can.
