Public servers!
You now have the ability to make public servers! Port forward TCP and UDP to 7777, download the server files, optionally create a custom domain, and you got yourself a public Polystrike server! Right, so here’s what’s changed in Build #008:
Made a ladder system and added a platform in the middle
Added sleeves
Made the offline tab selected by default
Removed M1911
Added LA-4
Fixed animation bug where sprinting had priority over reloading
Fixed the leaderboard size
Made a new method for calling RPCs
Improved some animations
Created a new icon
Added a changelog menu
Added a “breathing” idle animation
Added a settings menu where you can change quality and sensitivity
Put the arms and gun on a different layer on the local client to prevent clipping
Removed SCAR-L from splitscreen
Weapons in splitscreen are now N-3 and LA-4
Two quick notices!
First one is I’ve heard a couple people say they can’t get splitscreen to work because the keyboard and the gamepad both control the 1st player. Splitscreen was designed to work with several XBox controllers or compatible gamepads. If you want to use splitscreen, plug in two gamepads!
The second one is in order to connect to the public servers, you must login using the online tab. This will give you access to direct connect and will load official public servers into the list.
