Build 1.7 Release and Oct 1 Update

Hey everyone! Hero Boy has officially hit alpha!

This new update has mac and linux builds along with windows.

We’ve added a new tutorial, rebindable keys/volume sliders, and changed the control scheme so that the special attack is on the shift key instead of V. Swapping between special weapons is now done with the number keys.

Enemy AI behavior has been tweaked and enemies now have individual health bars. We’ve also added some additional cutscenes (no narration at the moment) and added some additional elements to the Dark Forest and Night School sections.

Because of some delays getting this build together and some of our contributors having family issues that required their immediate attention, we’ve had to delay the release of Hero Boy on Steam from October 14th to October 28th instead.

We’ll be unveiling one final demo after this once our game reaches beta!

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Ladies & gentlemen.. The Blender logo factory! I had a ton of un making this animation. I'll be making a short tutorial on picking up/dropping object in Blender for animations next week! What do you think?

I thought I would do a quick show and tell, with a 2 min video of the start of the game and some of the game elements, after many many months it is really starting to come together, time to start networking https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669
