By the hour is a biweekly event where every two weeks, 3 fangames by completely different devs and styles comes out.And now I'm gonna talk about all of the games, starting with the first night, "Momentum Mania".
First up we got baldE learning basics.
Quick note, most of these don't have menus so I won't talk about them. This is as the name suggests,a baldi fnaf fangame.
Here's our office, pretty simple.
You have to survive for only 4 minutes, and the main gameplay revolves around you solving extremely easy math problems.
By doing math, you get points, which you can go spend in the shop.
The man himself baldi will come to your right door, you can close it to hold him off, but powers limited; the only way to reset him is to get 550 points and buy an apple.
Now, the other characters.
Arts and crafts appears at either door just stare at him, if you don't, he'll make baldi fast as hell.
Playtime just close the door on her.
Principal of the thing you just gotta turn the pad off and keep the left door open.
1st prize is also here but he really doesn't do much,he only attacks when the night's basically over, he kinda works like homer from ftah 1 if you hear him open the doors, or else he'll break them.
And yeah, that's the entire game Time for my thoughts.
I used to REALLY not like this, mostly because of how simple, and frankly piss easy it was. one of my friends beat it by keeping the right door locked for the entire night and just bought the power over and over and over again.
I've played it a lot more for the review, and I kinda like it now. It's not amazing by any means, but it's cute. 6/10.
Next game, Randy's RalliWarehouse.
Ok, so the best way i can describe this game is that it feels like the pirates cavern section from a 2016 fnati fangame.
I really like the way the game looks. It's a really unique style, that i can't really explain.
You gotta survive for 3 minutes while getting rocks and cheese. You need the rocks, so you can throw them at Randy when he comes into the room.
And you need the cheese for the ratty.
The Rodgers guy's not a threat,in the slightest since you're already moving in and out of rooms extremely fast.
Ok, time for my thoughts, yeah this game fucking sucks i'm sorry..............
The main problem is that you can just go into a random ass room and then go to another one and just press space on repeat for 3 minutes. The Rodger guy can't do anything, and Randy can only come into a room if you're in it for too long, so you really have to be stupid to get yourself killed.3/10. I'm not sorry.
Now, it's time for the game you've all been waiting for, "Out of Order".
The game starts with this really cool looking VHS opening, explaining the lore.
WE, the player, are at one of fazbear's warehouses for the summer; but oh no, there are 3 animatronics here with us.
Office time and WOW, This game looks amazing.
Everyone working did a really great job.
Alright the gameplay, the power drains extremely fast, and the only way to refill it, is to go to the maintenance panel, and write codes.
It's not hard at all, if you can type fast, but if you can't, you might as well delete the launcher.
Time for the animatronics, the main one being Spring o Bunzo.
Our boy Bunzo starts in cam 1, and after that he'll either go to cam 2, or 4. All you have to do is close the gate on him.
After that he'll go in cam 3 and stay there for a while, and then go to the different hall, and the cycle repeats.
If you're stupid and somehow let him get past either hall, you gotta shock him in either 5 or 6, to send him back to cam 1.
The next one's an endo.
He'll become active at 2 am, and be in cam 7, Just stare at him.
If he reaches this certain position,he will start draining the power even faster. He's also the one that kills you when the power goes out.
And now you have to write 2 lines of code to bring the power back.
And on 4 am the final animatronic, Manilee becomes active.
when you hear her laugh go to the side it came from.
If nothing happens, use the flashlight. If you hear her breathe, close the door. It will open up again a few seconds later.
You also now have three lines of code to write.
Now, for my thoughts.
This game's really really good, just like I said before, the game looks fantastic, and unlike the other 2, the gameplay's actually great.
Despite being pretty hard, the game's extremely balanced and fair, without being too easy, or mml slop.
Every single death is your own fault, you can get yourself out of any bad situations, and everything will eventually be back to normal. The game's an easy 9/10.
You get a cutscene for beating the night, but I ain't spoiling it. And yeah, that was night 1.
Pretty decent, Randy's was the only actually bad one, but the other 2 were good. Yeah, that's i gotta say for now, cya all in night 2!
