i was planning to add my ocs ( like dubsonas, bopsonas, etc ) into the lil drawing but i couldn't make it work sadly

well anyways,

MY THOUGHTS ON 2023

2023 is probably the best year in my life so far

for the past few years, i've been failing to be consistently happy for a long duration. especially with how i used to act and handle things. but i changed a lot this year!!
i've been happy for the entirety of today and that would've sounded insane for me to have back then

my early 2023 was very carried by @TurtleBoard
from January to like September or something, i would talk to him for SO long and it'd always make me really happy even for a lil bit. i even kept track when he would wake up and went home from school so i could talk to him as soon as possible at one point ( which err sounds a bit creepy now that i'm looking at it :V )

I grew a lot as a person and managed to keep improving my skills this year. @worldTM indirectly helped me with that to be honest!!! i saw how polished their stuff looks and felt inspired and "challenged" in a way lol

@RealAwezomeXD 's submission for World jam 3 ( World jam is a series of gamejams hosted by WorldTM ) ESPECIALLY inspired me to get better at polishing my games!! Ross would post such a polished WIP of their game and i'd literally inspect how he did it and yoink it for BQFF and later games too

OH and although this is in september of 2022, Turtle also made me actually think about gameplay in my games due to the fact that when we first met in a gamejam server ( which was the birthplace for TO$ ), he really didn't like the gameplay as far as i can remember.

previously i've just sorta thrown mechanics that i thought of and felt like it would be neat to have in the game but turtle actually started making me think about how fun the mechanics would be together, how the gameplay loop would feel like and how it'll blend

and yeah!! 2023 improved my skills a ton and also made me appreciate life more :3

WHAT'S IN STORED IN 2024

let me tell you this, A WHOLE LOT!!!!!!!!

genuinely convinced as long as nothing goes wrong, 2024 is going to be my year!!! >:3

i'm not sure what to say here cause i don't wanna spoil it but
expect me to be really active in a lot of places!!!

..yea that was considerably shorter than my thoughts on 2023 :V
