NEWS:
Warzone Mobile is officially shutting down and won't be able to download starting after May 19th, on both the Google Play and Apple Store. They basically stated that the reason why the game failed and was discounted was because the game didn't meet expectations that they wanted it to.
So, CoD Points, Bundles, Seasonal content updates, Battle Passes, and getting the game on both Apple and Google Play stores will not be available after May 19th. But if you still have it installed you can still play it. Which basically means your cross-progression will still be activated for the main base game on PC/Consoles. Which is sorta good news in a way, but again after May 19th, you won't be able to download the game, buy COD points, Buy the battle pass, Get seasonal content updates, nor get anymore bundles to buy inside the game.
MY TAKE:
Now, I hope the developers learn a lesson and even though I feel really bad for them. They still should of listened to the community as well. Mainly fix the game lagging, heating up phones, and even switching to a different game engine too. But again, I still feel bad that these devs wasted their time and one year after it launches *poof*. It gets discontinued/shutdown.
My only criticism was that they should not have used the official COD engine for this port. They should of done what Tecent games did with COD Mobile. And that was make the game either in Unity or Unreal Engine. Even though Tecent made COD Mobile on Unity the developers for Warzone Mobile should of used Unreal Engine to the very least honestly. And even though I will still play it and keep it installed I hope people understand this as whole and realizes that a engine that is made not really well for mobile doesn't really do well at times and hope everyone understands that. But again, I hope these developers learn a lesson and also hope they get better jobs at either Call of Duty studios or even other gaming companies as well. So, again hope they will find better jobs sooner or later.
