Hello everyone, it's me, The Nonfictional Explainer, I come bearing unfortunate news. Due to a Recent string of technical errors, and internal conflict I have decided to cancel all future development on Faz-Anim: Movie Edition effective immediately. This decision was not an easy one to make, but for the good of my mental state and my general health this is what has to happen. We have had a good 2 years of showtapes and games but now it's come to an end.
And now for a simple Q&A:
Why is it being canceled? (in case you didn't read): The coder of the game has decided to quit working for it, and so without a person to handle that side of development there is nothing I can do.
Why not continue development yourself?: It is currently impossible for me to continue F.A.M.E due to two reasons, 1. Me not being able to code, and 2. I am not in possession of the source code
Why not learn unity and C# so you can finish the game?: The amount of effort and time needed to learn both unity and C# is just not worth the time to me. I have 2 youtube channels, and i'm going to animation college soon. So there's no point in me trying to learn something that just won't be worth it in the end.
What will happen to the movie map?: I still plan on finishing and releasing it, however i may only release it for blender ATM due to the difficulty of porting it to the source engine, and other types of games, i'm more relying on people doing that themselves, so yeah consider the move map F.A.M.E’s final bow.
And finally I would like to announce my departure from both the CEC and RAE community with their RR-engine counterparts respectively. I have had a difficult time in this community and I feel that leaving would be best for my mental state. With this comes the cancellation of all my other RR projects including “Faz-Anim: On Tour” and “Studio Reel to Real”
That's all for now everyone, see you when the movie map is complete.
