Hey guys, before I begin with this dev log, I want to apologize for the lack of updates for the last month or two. I got really busy with work and school stuff. I'm going to try and get the game done as soon as possible since I did miss the original dead line. With that being said...
HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!
Shiki Tohno (Tsukihime/Melty Blood)
Ok. I'm not going to bother summarizing this character's backstory because it would involve talking about Tsukihime, the visual novel series that the Melty Blood games are based off of. You can read about him here.
![shikit1.png shikit1.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14590223-nfpnbcja-v4.webp)
![shikit2.png shikit2.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14590229-56tr5wkw-v4.webp)
Shiki has two different modes you could select at the beginning of the round: Normal and EX. Shiki will have different special moves and super moves depending on the mode you select. The picture above is his 236 + P special in Normal Mode while the picture below is the 236 + P special in EX Mode.

TJ Combo (Killer Instinct)
Tyler-Johnson Garrett, more commonly known by his ring name, "TJ Combo", is an American boxer within the Killer Instinct series. Combo was the undisputed heavyweight champion for five years in a row. He eventually gets cyber enhancements to his arms by a company known as Ultratech. But after he refused to throw a match when they pitch him a fight with their Fulgore prototype, they sold him out for cheating, thus stripping him of all titles. Eager for revenge, he rips the cybernetic enhancements out of him and got back to the fight, hoping to destroy Ultratech.

![mugen003.png mugen003.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14625132-rccizv4b-v4.webp)
Be sure to save your meter for his Ultra Combo!
Akira Yuki (Virtua Fighter)
Akira uses the Bājíquán/Hakkyokuken martial art within the Virtua Fighter games. While only canonically winning the second Virtual Fighter tournament, Akira always enters these tournaments to hone his martial art abilities rather than entering them to ensure victory.
![mugen004.png mugen004.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14625357-zjpgeqfm-v4.webp)
Tekken would not exist today if it wasn't for SEGA and Virtua Fighter. Now these two finally duke it out.
![mugen005.png mugen005.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14625427-vuif3kgh-v4.webp)
Akira is unique in this game as he's all about juggling his opponent, like in Virtua Fighter.
![mugen006.png mugen006.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14625454-kxmaugce-v4.webp)
Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
After losing an arm and a leg to a failed Transmutation attempt, Edward Elric became the youngest state alchemist in history by receiving his certification at the young age of 12. Edward would late become engrossed in finding the Philosopher's Stone.

Extra Stages
Like the past few dev logs, I'll be revealing more extra stages to pick in the various game modes.
Secret Entry (Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master)
![shinobi.png shinobi.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630316-56pexcah-v4.png)
This is a stage that is being carried over from the cancelled Mugen Heroes Collide 3. This stage is based off of the second level of the Sega Genesis game, Shinobi III. Don't get distracted by the background.
Shibuya-Cho (Jet Set Radio)
![jsr.png jsr.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630368-zeidvqea-v4.webp)
Not to be confused with the Shibuya-Cho from TWEWY, This stage is the home turf of the GG's, the gang featuring the three main protagonists of Jet Set Radio, Beat, Gum, and Corn/Tab. Like the stage above, this stage was carried over from Mugen Heroes Collide 3.
Flamenco Tavern (Street Fighter II)
![vega.png vega.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630408-cyxycw6i-v4.webp)
This is Vega's/Balrog's/Claw's stage from Street Fighter II. This version of the stage comes from the HD release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
Haunted Graveyard (Ghosts 'n Ghosts)
![gng.png gng.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630474-mradzavt-v4.png)
This is the first stage from Ghosts 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts, which is the Elden Ring of the past. No seriously, this game is notoriously difficult. Regardless, duke it out on this spooky ghoul filled graveyard.
Sound Beach (Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory)
![beach.png beach.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630537-prak5hnn-v4.webp)
This is Terry Bogard's stage from Fatal Fury 3. It's a lot more relaxing compared to the Transcontinental Railroad. Terry's FF3 theme also plays on this stage.
Strange Plateau (The King of Fighters XV)
![platuea.png platuea.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630587-ujhen3q7-v4.webp)
This stage is where you fight Omega Rugal when partaking in the KOFXV Boss Challenge. Upon beating Omega Rugal, you get this stage, a remix of the KOF '94 song, "Conclusion R", and an alternate costume for Omega Rugal.
Mission 1 (Metal Slug)
![mission.png mission.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630681-r5jxmyf7-v4.webp)
Out of all of the SNK IP's I wanted a character for in this game, Metal Slug was the one I wanted a character from. Sadly, there weren't any really good versions/no versions of a character whatsoever. So a stage will do I guess.
Dimensional Flux Observatory (Guilty Gear -Strive-)
![pot.png pot.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630724-dvkbfnke-v4.webp)
Another Strive stage?! Recently, I got my hands on the game, and by golly, it's up there as one of my favorites. So, who's stage is this then. If I had the ability to add/create one more character from the Guilty Gear series, I would add Potemkin. I love this character a lot. So I added his stage from Strive. (This was also an excuse to put his theme into the game as well.)
May's Ship (Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R)
![may.png may.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14630931-awy5a6gg-v4.webp)
May is arguably one of the top 3 when it comes to recognizable Guilty Gear characters (next to Sol and Ky). She won't be joining the fight, but a stage featuring the Jellyfish Pirates will do right? (Also to all of the Johnny fans out there, he won't be joining either.)
Twilight Town (Kingdom Hearts II)
![twilight.png twilight.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14631041-ewjmxiyk-v4.webp)
Sora won't be joining the fight, but I gotta rep Kingdom Hearts somehow. So here is Twilight Town, which is what I call the main hub world for the Kingdom Hearts games after II. Speaking of which, I got to finish the first game... I'm so close to wiping the floor with Maleficent... almost.
The Land of Zeal (Chrono Trigger)
![zeal.png zeal.png](https://m.gjcdn.net/content/750/14631092-3ajnammv-v4.webp)
Yes, I got some Chrono Trigger representation here too. I really should play that game at some point. Anyways, the stage actually wobbles up and down during the fight. Just don't get distracted OK?
