Similar to RPG Maker, similar to Pokemon, that is at the begining of the description, i’m not used to Rpg Maker games (I’m playing “Millennium - A New Hope” on Steam, and i’m not very happy, grinding is slow)
My first tough on when i started this battle system was of course, to give that “Pokemon” feeling, sometimes i get the Pokemon fever and play the old school ones, but i eventually get bored quickly, mostly because it ends up being very repetitive (A, A, A, A, A, A, A), it’s good to grow your boy, but is time consuming and the fun fades away.
So, in order to “fix” that, there comes a system to include you more on the fights, which yes, it will take more time to fight but you will end with more rewards (Longer fights and less rewards is a nightmare), is plain simple, i added that “rythm” like game feature which can raise your attack or defense (In order to finish quick or last longer).
Now, with the add of the elements and types (Water>Fire and Vaccine>Virus) swapping around your characters on the fight is just messed up, it will make fights unnecesary longer.
I played Digimon Dawn few days ago and my happy memories came back, that game has an interesting feature related to “grow your boy”, you can evolve and devolve continously in order to perfect the stats, which puts the training on a real stuff, besides it has 3vs3 fights (Or 3vs5?) so you can raise 3 digimon at a time (3 times “quicker”? because you fight 3 enemies in one match)
This game has 16 followers, so before i do something like this, i find it ok to discuss this before changing the stuff which you “followed” for
I added two pics, one of Digimon Dusk (Like Ruby/Saphire for NDS, is like Dawn) and Digimon Heroes (Mobile), this last one is very poor, digimon can’t train like in Dawn and fight system is just too….. non fight?
