My team and I have decided to slightly change our approach regarding the engine.
The current battle engine for the project is a modified version of MCatR's engine that I made years ago. However, it's now too outdated, and I can't add too much code without risking its functionality.
Therefore, we've decided to redo the battle engine from scratch (not the website) so you can get a much smoother workflow when it comes to making your battles, and to make the project more original.
But do not worry, for the modified MCatR engine will not be thanos snapped from its existence cause I'm planning on releasing the scrapped battle engine here so my work won't go to waste cause I've been working on modifying the engine for 4 years before the undertale engine even existed.
So with a little more bug fixing and adding more small features the battle engine will be ready for release so stay tuned for that.
