Changeable DJ Devices, the new x8 flashing speed and Light Manager improvements | Status Devlog #20

Heyho everyone and welcome to this fresh new Status Devlog.
Our last devlog is already 13 days old… the time is running.
But anyways I got some great news for you what’s in the next update of this game so here we go!

Changeable DJ Devices

I was hardly thinking about that this would be the special feature for the Specta Stage until I came to the result that you should be able to change the main dj device of every stage.
Let me show you a picture:

I will tell you how it works:
If you enter the stage the regular dj device will be the new 4 CDJs.
But you can change it even to the old 4 CDJs. Here is what you do.
Every stage will now have a laptop on the dj table. This laptop is closed. Simply go to that laptop and open it with right click and toggle between 4 dj devices (new 4 CDJs, old 4 CDJs, DJ Controller and piano keyboard) with left click. You can of course close the laptop again.

New Flashing Speed!!

We finally get a new flashing speed for the moving lights added to the Light Manager! I did think about it for a long time and I’ve seen more and more real life DJ stages with very fast flashing lights so I finally implemented the new x8 flashing speed into Stage Simulator! And yes x8 is fast. It is twice as fast as the x4 flashing speed but it is really cool to look at and a good use for harder and wilder tracks. This is how it looks like in the Light Manager:

Light Manager flashing speed displaying support

The Light Manager is now finally showing the flashing speed of a light section in the light selection too. When you have selected a flashing speed it will be shown in the light selection right in the play symbol:

This makes it even more easier to find a specific light section you want to customize.
Oh and you might have seen that the background of the Light Manager is pretty dark. I have made every interface background in the game darker that you can see all things on it properly at daytime.

And there we reached the end of this Status Devlog.
Now combine all news of the last Status Devlog with that one and you will have a huge Game Update 0.21.
I am not ready yet to release it but it will definitely in the first half of next month.

So then I hope you have a great day!
