changelog 0.1.50


(note: windows defender or other anti virus might report a false positive. There are no viruses in the game, its just a weird false positive.)

(also due to the big changes, previous save files are now no longer compatible. And since a lot of text has been changed, removed or moved around, it is recommended to start over the translations (check the "how to translate" file for more info)

changelog:

-Major changes to chapter 1 (new enemies, tweaked story, new miniboss, weird route was replaced with a different route, almost all events rewritten)

-Minor changes to chapter 2 (only in LW for now, still ends at same spot)

-Split the pck file from the exe (should reduce anti-virus false positives)

-Increased number of save slots (3 to 9)

-It is now possible to slow down the soul by holding CANCEL in battle

-Added chapter select menu (chapters need to be unlocked by playing the game until then, or a certain code can be used to unlock them in the file select menu (up to chapter 2))

-Added "Battle Memory" to save points, letting you refight previously defeated bosses

-Added list of captured darkners in Dark Jail

-Added more checks for settings file creation (should stop some instances where the file fails to load)

-Added icons when selecting actions in battle

-Added running animations in the Dark World (and increased run speed)

-Added 30 FPS mode (some stuff might be broken as it wasn't fully tested) and VSYNC in the settings

-Added a failsafe in case the player gets stuck in geometry -Added some original music tracks

-Added a secret mode

-Axis no longer starts with all his moves, those will be unlocked later (still unimplemented)

-Reduced soul hitbox (should make dodging a bit easier)

-Changed the text to work closer to UT/DR (pressing/holding CANCEL will instantly show the text but not proceed to the next)

-Changed how grazing works to be similar to DR

-Tweaked some sprites (Ceroba now wears sandals, for example, and lots of chapter 1 darkners look slightly less crudely made)

-Apprehending's appearance changed and you get some money from apprehending enemies

-Increased money reward for repeating memory game

-Text will now show the proper assigned keybindings instead of button descriptions

-Reworded enemy checks to include hints on how to spare them

-Fixed flag with the basketball minigame's chest

-Fixed phantom hitboxes with some enemies after apprehending/sparing them

-Tension items now are used instantly in battle

-The party now gets 1 HP if a fight ends and they are with 0 HP

-The party's HP when DOWN'd was tweaked

-Run state stays between run transitions now

-Reworked a lot of code for how things work

-Fixed some faulty collisions

-Some small fixes/tweaks

So some of you have this issue where the battle doesn't load and instead gets stuck on this screen. If you have this issue, pls send me a friend request. I want to ask some specific info about it. Its very important
