Changelog 0.17.2


Hello! This update is focused on bringing a few QoL changes in preparation for a big update I'm planning in the near future, it also brings a few small balance changes and some fixes.


Native Linux Support!

This update also brings the first native build to Linux! From now on I'll be supporting the platform the best as I can, Hope you guys enjoy it!

This build was mainly tested in an Arch-Based distro, if you guys encounter any issues while playing it in other distros please, few free to leave a comment below and I'll try my best to help.


Added

  • Added a visual immunity buff to the player when they got revived by any means

  • Now if you are knocked down on singleplayer the game will skip the die countdown after 1s (the countdown is kept if you are playing as Medic and can revive)

  • Added an edit box to the Mouse Sensitivity option

  • Added a notification animation to the inventory when buying an item

  • Added a "Hold to Shoot" Option to the Controls tab

  • Added a "Display FPS" option to the Display tab

  • Added a "Unlimited" option to the Max FPS on display

  • Buffs/Debuffs now have different background colors

  • Ragdolls now receive impact on multiplayer!

  • Added a Headshot category for receiving points


Changes

  • Increased the default speed to Revive allies 1 > 1.25

  • Changed how the Money popup works

  • Decreased the Money received when Connecting later 50 * wave > 25 * wave

  • Decreased Damage/Heal notification opacity 0.35 > 0.2

  • Changed the Heal screen flash from green to blue

  • The Player's List has received a few visual changes

  • Changed the Ammo/Vest and Medical shop color and added a model to the Vest shop

  • The Results screen has received a few visual changes

  • Decreased the Time to return to the lobby on the results screen 6s > 3s

  • Increased Headshot Damage 1.5 > 2

  • Bullets now pass through the barricades

  • Updated the Knocked down notification for the other players

  • Now the Interaction bar is centered when fixing a barricade while not looking at it

  • Classes

    • Engineer

      The engineer has been completely recoded to prepare it for a few things I'm planning to do in the future.

      Now you receive 1s cooldown after putting a building and 3s cooldown after it gets destructed

    • Landmine:

      • Detection Range 2.2 > 1.25

    • Ranger

      • Now needs to hold the Shoot button to start spinning his minigun to start shooting

    • Doctor

      • Force 0.95 > 0.85

    • Enforcer

      • Added a small knockback to the shield when tanking a hit

      • Speed Reduction when Blocking 35% > 15%

      • Discount for unlocking areas 20% > 30%

    • Gunslinger

      • Changed the start weapon: Two Revolvers > Two Pistols

      • Now can Dash while Reloading

  • Zombies

    A big chunk of the Zombie's AI got entirely reworked, like how they target players/objects, apply damage, and a few other things.

    I'm still looking into reworking more areas of the code, but this one is a big step forward since it took a few days to do.

    Those changes should improve the performance greatly when too many zombies are spawned.

    • Zombies per wave: 3 + 2 * Player's amount every 5 waves > 2 + Players amount every 3 waves

      • Now needs some strength to be stunned

Fixed

  • Fixed a wrong text on the Display options

  • Fixed a few grammatical errors on the Heavy Lifter description

  • Fixed Special bullets not activating properly

  • Fixed an exploit when throwing a grenade and changing slots quickly

  • Fixed an issue where the mini-map would not be updated properly when pressing ESC

  • Fixed an issue where the HUD Keys/Options Menu would keep showing if the game was started with a menu open

  • Fixed an issue where the "Everyone is dead" text was showing over the results screen

  • Fixed an issue where all barricades would fall when a player connected later/reconnected

  • Fixed an issue where the player could be alive with a negative life in a few cases

  • Fixed an issue where the Screen flash would keep its alpha if the game was paused between the flash (when healing, receiving damage, etc)

Algumas foto de como tá a HUD agora, ainda quero muda muita coisa mas tá bonito até

primeira vez que tento fazer animação pra botões na HUD, até que não fico nada mal

fiz alguns icones pros perks, ainda tem alguns pra fazer mas boa parte já tá pronta
