We had a talk regarding 4.0's rooms and camera placements a little while ago, and we concluded that the stylized layout map we made for our revival is likely an older concept that got scrapped in the official 4.0.

What do i mean with this?

Basically, we are going to replace the layout with the Alpha footage layout. While us devs of 4.0 revival are not really sure about it, we think it's best to replace it.

Basically, we had some talks regarding Memories Mode, and while StellaWisps (Subwooferx3) and Blackout seem to have never directly confirmed wether there was going to be a roof in 4.0, we just decided to go with it since there's more evidence of the roof being a thing in 4.0. It's not solid evidence, but it's enough to believe it.

The Storage Closet camera (CAM 7 in our revival), will not be in the main gameplay in the full game, but you will be able to unlock it through cheats.

Cheats in 4.0 Revival

In the full game of 4.0 Revival, we will make it that you can unlock fun cheats by completing the game. These bring benefits for you, and other miscellaneous additions to expand the world of the game. One of those is bringing back the Storage Closet as a camera you can use.

We have other cheats planned for the full game, however we prefer to let you find out when the full game comes out.

Mascot Tunnels
We started working on the Mascot Tunnels a while ago and of course, we are designing the boss battle against The Inhuman. We are planning this to be a good, satisfying way to end the 4.0 revival game.

I also wanted to let you guys know that i see 4.0 Revival as a game built by the ideas and preferences of the community, so we really encourage you to let us know about your ideas in the comments of our posts or the game, and there might be a chance of it being added in the final game! (Keeping them accurate and aligned with 4.0's lore and design of course, do not suggest anything that changes the original lore or the design of the game.)
