The first patch has been released! New characters, new items, and the first chapter to complete! The game is up to the first stage of Chapter 2, and the character/gear shop will unlock after you beat the boss of Chapter 1. I’m aiming for monthly updates, so I should have a Halloween-themed side chapter, more new characters and more new items out sometime in mid-October.
As a side note, some of the game’s features don’t seem to work in Internet Explorer. Sound, music, and fullscreen are all disabled for reasons I can’t figure out, so I highly recommend playing in Firefox if possible. Chrome seems to work, but I don’t test in that as much. Also, leave me some feedback! I’m taking suggestions for new characters and such. Other changes made in this update:
fixed double Bowser glitch
fixed a glitch where the LEVEL UP button would show up with no character visible
fixed a few attacks being the wrong class
Increased status effect duration from 2000 to 2500 ticks
reworked status effect terminology; physical walls are now called Shield, energy walls are now called Barrier. Brave has been renamed to Valor, Broken has been renamed to Fragile.
Improved length of Stun
Black Widow now only has Slow doubled, not Stun
Increased effectiveness of Fragile and Burn
