Chapter 2 Screenshots Posted! Plus some updates

As the title suggests, the three screenshots for Lucid Chapter 2 have been posted. So if you are just here for the screenshots, they're up above. They hopefully show how the general feel of the game is going to be like.

Now for some rambling

It's been over a month since the last time you guys have heard from me, and it's for a reason. I have been working on chapter 2 for multiple hours a day for about a 3 weeks now. The first 2 weeks were brainstorming ideas for chapter 2 (since the original idea was scraped), now I still have to brainstorm more but I had enough ideas so I was able to start development. This past week I have probably spent around to 20 hours developing (3-ish hours a day for 7 days) and so far everything is coming together beautifully.

Also during my time brainstorming, @Mr_Nimportnawak and I chatted about the problems that tainted Chapter 1's experience. And I'm happy to say that those issues are (hopefully) gone! Now some aspects of Chapter 1 have influenced parts of Chapter 2, but these parts have been improved.

Before I leave again I want to say that Chapter 2 will be more puzzle focused rather than blindly running away from a monster, hoping that you'll find levers.

I'm really excited to see this project finished, but that doesn't mean it'll be soon. Chapter 2 will still be around a few more weeks yet. Plus Hypersomniac Mode will be released around a week after Chapter 2's initial launch.

That's all Folks!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Got some fun collectibles in our game, Path of Kami!
