Alan Michael Sugar is man who made his name by selling rebranded electronic goods such as stereos and record players. He jumped into the microcomputer business as he thought that there could be some improvement such as not having to fiddle around with a cassette player and wires (such as with the ZX Spectrum) or spend ungodly amounts on imports (Like the C64 and the Apple II). So he released the Amstrad CPC, a home micro that came with a monitor and a cassette player (for loading program from tape) built in. He later withdrew from this market in the early 90’s to focus on other electronic before leaving his company to go into politics.
Alan Sugar is sort of a rival to Sir Clive in the Legend of ZUN sorta like an affluent British Gary Oak. You’ll encounter him multiple times in your adventure to find ZUN. Alan’s reason to rescue ZUN is more for money than for anything else (as having Touhou games as an exclusive is a profitable promise).
In game, he doesn’t fight you directly but rather used proxies such as an Amstrad branded drone.
