Cigarretes after insanity Update


🧠 New Core System: Sanity

In this update, Sanity is a crucial factor for survival in NextStation. Maintaining a high level is essential, as Sanity affects both your perception of the environment and your ability to survive.

Sanity/Health System Implementation: A new Sanity meter has been added. If Sanity reaches zero, the character will die .

Monitor your PAD: Your personal PAD now displays your current Sanity level. Keep an eye on it to manage your survival.

Sensory Effects: The Sanity level alters the character's perception. Low levels can distort your vision and hearing, making the game more challenging.

🚬 Smoking and Debuffs

The smoking system has been adjusted to integrate with the new Sanity mechanics:

Combating Insanity: Smoking cigarettes helps maintain a high Sanity level.

Overdose: Smoking excessively in a short period (less than 1 minute) or taking long drags will cause the character to suffer an Exhaustion Debuff.

Effect: The character will be unable to run (the Shift key will be disabled) and will walk slowly for 10 seconds. Manage your habit wisely!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
