Wowie zowie! I've done cringy things in my past!

Much like my Wattpad account that will never be mentioned again, I cringe at the relics of a younger me from when I was worse at basically everything.

I was worse at storytelling (Only Unknown) worse at commitment (Heartbeat Reason & Project Tunnel) and worse as a person (Old comments).

For all that were harmed by past me, you have my deepest apologies. Still not changing my About Me to reflect my current views because I find it so cringy it's funny.

Anyway news of lesser things,

Horn Knee Studios is as free-spirited as ever, not getting much done. I also have not gotten much done on personal projects outside of Horn Knee that are related to here, although I've been doing a ton of work on stuff outside of this site. Hell, I feel like my commitment issues are worse in the opposite direction since I refuse to 100% focus on anything until I'm done with what I'm currently doing.

Problems are real, kids.

Anyway I recently got into music a lot more recently. Before now I never really got why people listened to music, but it finally clicked with me. It only took until people started questioning if I'm human for not having music taste for it to happen. Before I'd just say the songs that I liked playing most on rhythm games, but now I still listen to EDM but now with jazz and some alternative rock. Y'know, closer to normal people stuff. I still don't gets what's so good about pop, metal, normal rock, rap and all the other big genres. Every time I get recommended something from those genres it just feels like I'm trying to put a square in a circular hole.

Maybe my taste in music is just bad, who knows?

I've started learning how to use Godot. A real man's game engine that isn't Ren'Py. I'll still be using Ren'Py for a bit until I stop having a skill issue with Godot and because I've already started projects in it and am too far in to change course. The main reason I started using Godot is because it will be the vehicle to make my dream games happen. My dream game used to be Only Unknown, but it has since changed as my taste in games have become more refined, and I'm going to make my dream game eventually. It may not be the first thing I do and finish, but it'll happen eventually.

Now to follow up on nerd stuff from the previous yearly posts.

I read a lot of manga since then and have basically stopped caring about what anime are out nowadays aside from a few.

Since the list of anime I've watched is way shorter I'll start with that.

JoJo Part 6's anime was such a letdown. The first two thirds were so terrible. My favorite JoJo part shouldn't have been treated like this! At least the final third was a really solid adaptation even if the time they chose to change to the 2nd version of the 2nd opening theme was off by a couple episodes.

I also watched the anime adaptations for a few other non-JoJo manga I like. Yuru Camp and 100 Girlfriends had really good adaptations, and as of writing this the adaptation for Senpai wa Otokonoko just got a second episode and it's really good. Other than that, I guess I watched The Boy and the Heron and The Wind Rises? Boy and Bird was alright, The Wind Rises was really good.

...and that's about it for anime I've watched. Anyway, manga time. Way longer list with my opinions:

• Read the Demon Slayer manga, way better than the anime.

• Read the My Hero Academia manga because I thought it'd be like Demon Slayer, it was still as bad if not worse than the anime.

• Read My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, way better than My Hero Academia.

• Read Collette Decides To Die, really good whatever genre it is.

• Read Make The Exorcist Fall In Love, it's Blue Exorcist if it was good.

• Started reading Senko-san artist's new manga. It's alright.

• Read the manga for Apothecary Diaries, it's alright I guess.

• Read all of One Piece, it's way better than the anime.

• Read Under Execution, Under Jailbreak, really good JoJo spin-off by Araki himself.

• Read the russian girl romance, mid af it's a boring romance but "OOooOoOOoOoooOo the girl doesn't know the guy understands russian OOooooOoOOoOOoOoOooo"

• Read Ginka to Gluna, really deserved a better ending.

• Read Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, really good prequel(?) to Diamond is Unbreakable.

• Read Monster. Really damn good.

• Read Oyasumi Punpun. Really depressing but also really damn good.

• Read Rozen Maiden. It's so mid but I love it.

• Read Girl's Last Tour. Pretty good.

• Tried reading Death Note, couldn't get through the 2nd half

• Reread JoJo because I finally began forgetting what happened in it.

• I've been reading JoJo Part 9 since release the same day an (good) English translation is released

• Frieren is pretty good.

• Land of the Lusterous is REALLY good.

Big list, I know. There much more I haven't mentioned because I don't remember if I read them this past year or before like Jashin-chan Dropkick or Mirai Nikki, one of which is good and the other is also good but not ass good as the one with the snake girl.

Other than that, here are a few of those series that are of note that I don't know if I've mentioned yet or not.

Idol x Idol story is made by the creator of New Game and is Oshi no Ko but better imo.

Candy & Cigarettes is a really solid action manga.

Jashin-chan Dropkick is really good and has peak women in the form of Pekora and Yurine.
