Clarifying how The Escape to Freddy's is going to play

I want to take the time to clarify some of the gameplay features of TETF. For those who haven't seen the gameplay preview posted previously, I'd highly recommend watching it, although it isn't a necessity.

Here's the link for those who need it - About that preview I mentioned.... As always some things here are s... - The Escape To Freddy's by Returning Paradox Team (gamejolt.com)

So, about the gameplay.

As you might've seen, this game has no cameras, and no doors. The player is stuck inside of the Freddy costume on stage, and due to this, has very few ways of defending themselves.

Firstly, the player has the ability to turn their neck between 3 positions, being left, right, and center. In any other game, that'd be an insane thing to mention. Here though, you'll find that where you chose to face at any given time may either save your life, or end it entirely.

Secondly, the player is able to lift up their mask, gradually filling up their oxygen meter at the expense of exposing yourself to things you'd rather keep hidden from. You wouldn't want to run out of air now, would you? Keep in mind, you gain oxygen faster the longer you have it off, so occasionally taking short breaths isn't going to help you out much.

Finally, the suit itself is equiped with a light that can be used semi-frequently. While the cooldown is rather short, it's not instant, so you need to be extremely careful with how you go about using it.

If any of these mechanics sound simple, it's because they are. It's the animatronic behavior that adds the complexity in.

As some of you may have guessed, this game takes a large amount of inspiration from Bondee's Barnyard. Fans of that game who also enjoy a good challenge should consider giving this one a shot as well, as it pushes simular skils to the limits.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to refer to this project's pinned post! I'll answer what I can, since I'm extremely excited to release this game to you all!

To those who're curious, once ETF 2.0 releases, we're likely going to make some kind of video and/or master-post talking about our plans for the future games that won't see the light of day now.

Maybe we'll even throw in some character renders, who knows?

Alright real update. i wanted to talk about this last night but i was not in a good state to do so (sleepy)

Where did the days go and how can i get them back

Sure here's another one

Found a game called Springtrap: The Return, and on night 3 it introduces a second, more red Springtrap who’s like 20x faster but also shy.

Needless to say, I think this should become a staple of all Fnaf 3 / Fredbear / Springtrap games immediately

Oh ok i get it now

If you find him you get a prize...

We may have found an obscure channel that's an absolute treasure trove of old, lost, and forgotten fangames.

That aside, Five Nights at Fazbear's Prologue was high-key cooking.
