Aikona: A Final Goodbye
All of you are probably familiar with Aikona by now.
But who was she?
Aikona Morgans was one of my original creations. Her daughter was Evalyn Morgans, the genderbend reality version of my main original creation, Elian Sarvik. Aiko was my only normal characters, truth be told. She went through life growing up as a child should, in the 1990's, with minimal amount of bullying. She had good grades, nice friends, and lived a nice life. She had a well-paying job, and was a nice mother to her child.
Why was she scrapped?
She wasn't exactly scrapped. One day, when she was 70, she felt content with herself, and thought she had lived a happy life. So, she peacefully threw herself into the ocean...
Why am I bringing this up?
This character is supposed to represent what a normal, human, peaceful character would be. The total opposite of this site. This isn't a suicide post. I'm not depressed. I'm actually quite happy. Sort of like this woman. So happy she thought she reached the limit of it. She thought nothing else good would come to her.
What happened after her death?
Evalyn went on to become deeply depressed, and nearly got cancer. Aikona's husband decided to follow in her tracks, and end himself too. Not because of a peaceful life, but because he came to the conclusion there was no purpose in life without her.
In conclusion, this character is two things in one.
How someone killing themselves can make the most perfect people become the most depressed ones, and how nearly nobody leads a normal life.
And that's okay.
We all keep fighting.
The fear isn't losing.
If we lose, we can get back up and keep fighting.
The real fear is giving up, and admitting defeat.
There lies the worst choice you could ever make.
So please. Keep fighting.
