Game
Wrong Way: The Truth

Close to a year again. How is it?

Before I start I would like to say sorry if this sounds overdramatic. To start, I would like to say sorry to you all. Sorry for constantly keeping you all in the dark, and I’m sorry that it’s taken this long for even a slight dev update. Recently, I had a random hit that made me really want to get back onto this. But even before that, this game was in the back of my mind constantly. But what was I doing that whole time? Basically, I was working on another game. A game that I haven’t made a page for yet. I recently looked back at how much I had done on the Unity version of Wrong Way: The Truth and I would say I have like 80% done. As I said in the last post, I got stuck on something on Unity so I have switched it over to UE4. I only recently started working on the switch, and I feel like the restart is not only going to be better for me, but it’s going to be better for the game. Looking back at old beta builds I have and the Unity project itself, there are some things and choices that I made that are really bad. Things like really generic gameplay and story elements, some story points made no sense, things like that. So I’m going to hopefully get back on track and work on this a bit more. This was the first game I ever made that was 3D. This meant that development on it was quite slow because I still had to learn things. Now that I have a lot more understanding of how 3D game development works and I now have an engine is more comfortable on, this game, or at least something more than I have now, I’m hoping to have at by the end of this year. I’m sorry for keeping you all in the dark about this. And thank you all for keeping this alive. This would have died ages ago if not for you guys. Thank you all. - MaxFire.
