During the process of level design for UFO, I play with various geometric forms and their arrangements to find interesting spaces. I arrange Unity primitives, building models of my own, and a couple public domain lowpoly city models. Below are some screenshots of that process.
Iām finding inspiration in modern art, specifically Piet Mondrian. I hope to translate this not just into pretty pictures but also meaningful visual language for gameplay.
