Colors


Hey, Gus here, the Art Director of Epopeia.

Every artistic definition began with the colors choice. I knew that the game would have a minimalist aesthetic, so I started a quest for flat color design.

Flat design is an artistic trend that seeks simplicity to convey ideas clearly. During my research, I found the work of Dumma Branding, and their work inspired me to create the color palette for IIN.

With the colors defined I started to work with the universe definition and iconography as well, but this a story for another time.
