Combat System


Defense

Damage Soak:
Your total ability to take damage is broken up into three stats

*(Enemies also have this stat)

Hp*(Health Points)
Base HP: 10
HP per LV: 2
HP is the only starting damage soak, and you only gain more by killing. Red bar on the battle HUD. Weak to Fire (Blaze orange projectiles)

SP*(Shield Points)
Base SP: 5
SP per LV:0
SP is the next form of damage soak, only gained by equipment, shields are common SPARE Drops off of bandits. There are many varrations on shields and various properties. Blue bar on Battle HUD. Weak to Shock ( Cobalt blue projectiles)

AP*(Amour Point)
Base AP:5
AP per LV: 2 (4 starting at LV5) (6 at LV10) (8 at LV15)
AP is the last for of damage soak, you don’t start with any, but killing is the only way to gain any. Green Bar on Battle HUD. Weak to Corrosion (Lime green projectiles)

Enemy Attacks:
Bandits (Nisha+Random bandits)
Use gun based Attacks

Nisha Exclusive:

Sepia SOUL: Nisha turns your SOUL Sepia and you must abide archaic rules of combat.

		
			  1: Must stay 24 paces apart. (Can only move left-Right no up-down movement)

  2: Your weapons must match. (Nisha only uses Revolvers so your only usable weapons are revolvers)

  3: No modified weaponry. (No Elemental or poisonous effects)
		
	

Sirens (Lilith, Maya, Angle)
Sirens have direct access to all elements Except Cryo.

Elemental Waves:

Shock waves of Random elements (No Cryo) cross through the bullet box but stop half way then vanish.

Elemental Bombs:

Large Orbs of Elemental energy slowly float through the bullet box when they collide with a wave attack they burst into a pool of that element.

		
			Corrosive: Once the pool vanishes the place where the pool was the bullet box is permanently damaged until the end of the wave.

Slag: Slows the player while they move through it. Doubles the next damage taken.

Shock: briefly stuns the player on Contact with the explosion.

Fire: Dose double damage with the pool than the bomb itself
		
	

Maya Exclusive:

Phase Lock: Randomly during attack rounds Maya will use Phase Lock, this will stop you from moving briefly.

Lilith Exclusive:

Phase Walk:

Lilith appears and disappears each time sending a shock wave of all elements down through the bullet box.

Angel Exclusive:

Phase Shift:

Angel can distort the bullet box into many strange uncommon shapes.

Goddess Energy:

With all of the SOULS she absorbed her Power is much greater than in life. Goddess Energy does all elements at once (Not Cryo)

Cataclysmic Storms:

Inbuned with massive SOUL energy Angel is able to produce massive lightning strikes and rains of Acid, Fire or Slag.

Astral Manipulation:

Angel’s final ability is to call Stars from all sides of the bullet box.

Beasts (Skags, Torks, Kraggons, Stalkers, Shugguraths/Rathyds)

Claws:

From the edges of the bullet box red claw outlines form, once they complete the claws Slash in carving the bullet box in they’re wakes. (Picks up the element of the using enemy.)

Jaws:

The bullet box becomes the beasts Jaws, teeth form on the top and bottom with one opening, then the Jaws close together and reopen, then the safe spot moves, repeat the process from there. (Picks up the element of Kraggons that use this Attack)

Spit

Round projectiles fall from above the bullet box, are rarely corrosive.

Mecromancers(Gaige+Lyren):

1: Summon robots to fight in there place

		
			2: Clockwork SOUL(Two versions, one you    bound to the center and must reflect attacks with your light blue bar onto the green stationary bar, the other your magnetized to the walls you and only switch​ magnetism to avoid projectiles)
		
	

3: Lasers sweap through the bullet box

Gaige specific;

		
			Sniper Rifle: Gaige's main weapon, it will put a Crossheir in the bullet box and slowly chase the player's SOUL. (Low Anarchy)

Anarchy: Everytime she does a reload attack her  damage doubles and her Accuracy Halves

Fire Pistol: twin pistols appear outside the bullet box and follow the player's SOUL shooting fire projectiles.(High Anarchy)
		
	

Death-Trap: Gaige’s exclusive robotic companion uses three different attacks in addition to Gaige’s.

		
			 The Stare: A Blaze orange Lazer sweeps through the bullet box turning blue at the center.

 Claws: Death-Trap swings his claws through the bullet box.

 Shield Restore: instead of attacking Death-Trap just refills Gaige's shield.
		
	

Lyren exclusive:

Karmic Retribution: Having killed everybody he cared about all of his attacks Poison you ignoring Armour.

Revolvers: much like Gaige’s Fire pistol except during reload shell casings fall into the bullet box and must be dodged

Dust-Storm: One of Lyren’s robotic companions attacks in three ways

		
			 Great Sword form: Dust-Storm turns into a Great Sword and splits the bullet box

 Black Dragon form: Dust-Storm turns into a dragon and shoots fire from the top of the bullet box

 Vengeance's Bow form: Dust-Storm shifts into a crossbow and fires slag shots that deal damage directly to Hp.

 Tower Shield Form: While this isn't an attack Lyren cannot take damage before Dust-Storm is defeated because Dust-Storm in this form blocks all damage.
		
	

Cyclone: Lyren’s second Robotic Companion has two major abilities and one attack

		
			 Vortex Throw: Cyclone can generate enough force to throw the bullet box itself changing all orientation along with it.

 Cyclonic Wind: Cyclone whips up a wind storm to throw you around the bullet box.

 Vortex Pull: During a combat phase Cyclone may pull to bullet box a certain direction and send wind blade projectiles through the bullet box.
		
	

Robots (Mini-trap, Gearhead, Blight-bot, Punk-Trap, Blaze-Trap, Fraglings, Blast-Trap, Lesser Death-Trap, Greater Death-Trap, Blast-bot, Fragtrap, Scrap.)

General robot abilities:

Lasers:

Beams of Elemental energy sweep through the bullet box but stop shortly after crossing the center.

Blades:

Function identically to beast claws Except they cover a larger area.

Turrets:

Turrets are gun like Attacks, Except without a reload.

Offense

Attack stats:

There are a few kinds of attack stats for each type of Attack

PWR*(power)
Base PWR: 5
PWR per LV: 2
PWR increases your damage from Melee weapons (Swords, Claws, Staves)

MAG(Magic)
Base MAG: 5
MAG per LV: 2
MAG increases your damage with spells, spells are gained in a few ways
1 Gaining LV
2 Killing Bosses
3 killing rare spawns

ACC*(Accuracy)
Base ACC: 10
ACC per LV: 1
ACC makes FIGHTing with gun weapons easier and less fast.
Guns are gained in the same way as spells, Except not LVing up.

Types of Attacks
Melee:
Melee weapons are used in the same way as all weapons are in Undertale, some weapons have more bars(Hits) or move faster. But the general goal with melee is to hit as many bars as possible in the center of the Scale.

Spells:
Each spell is a little different

Basic spells:

Slag Burst(LV2)
When Slag Burst is used five cardial directions are selected randomly a bar slides left->Right across these arrows in the directions chosen, hit each matching direction as close to the center for more damage and on a perfect hit you apply Slag which doubles all damage on that Target.

Thunder Bolt(LV3)
When Thunder Bolt is used a set of eight vertical (Up or Down) directions are selected randomly, then those direction translate into arrows, a bar moves Top->Bottom across each arrow hit Up/Down depending on which one as close to the center as possible for big damage. Deals Shock Damage.

I’ll make more later but each spell is a little different.

Guns
Every gun type has a different method of Aim.

Revolvers:
Shooting a Revolver the Aim board will give you a Crossheir and you must move it to the white spot on the Aim and press Enter once per bullet (Usually 6) until you empty the clip. You always empty the clip on use on combat.

Sniper Rifles:
Shooting a Sniper Rifle will use an Aim board similar to Undertale Yellow. You will use this board only once per shot and you do not empty the clip/Mag on use.

SMGs:
Shooting a SMG will cause a Wavering ring a board similar to Undertale Yellow press and hold Enter until it reaches the center the release once it’s bouncing back out hold Enter until it reaches the yellow Ring then release Enter. You always empty the clip/Mag

Those are the only ones I’m certain how they will work

Hello my space friends! Now I added a space background to the ship. I love that space look but I still feel like stuff is missing. The lighting on the ship needs some improvements I think. Please tell me your opinion!
