Coming Along

Hello!
So this game is a random thought I had that I turned into a story, and then got really excited about. At the time of writing this, I’m actually in the last quarter of development. So I thought that I should take a moment to really say what this game is about.

The premise is that you a lost soul, trapped in Purgatory by the Keeper of Souls until you complete your punishment and find a way to move on from whatever is keeping you there. However, you become less than enthusiastic about this when the Keeper of Souls tells you that your task is to judge other lost souls and choose where they belong in the afterlife - Heaven, Purgatory, or Hell.
This game will feature nine unique cases where a person was convicted of a crime during their life, and is now trapped in a cell in Purgatory until they are assigned a permanent dwelling, by you.
As the player, you will provided with the police report that was accurate at the time of the death of the soul you are judging, and then speak to the soul for their side of the story, and then have to decide from there on your own.

If you have any questions about the game play, or the development, or the soundtrack or anything, feel free to leave me a comment or contact me at
nythil-mahariel-grey-warden.tumblr.com if you so wish.
Thanks for checking out the demo if you do, and thanks for reading!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

blender animation experimentation, getting the hang of things fast. arms, rig, & gun models by me ofc
