Composition Devlog! (7/7/25)


Hello everyone!

As you might have seen, I have added a LOT of music to the music player. I have composed a bunch of music, give them a listen!

I am always learning how to make music, and for now, I’m very happy with the music I’ve made. I feel like I get better with each track I make! Here’s something I have made but is intentionally sparse on details. The title is partially cut off. Also, the song is very secret, you guys won’t know what the purpose of it is just yet :3

I actually hope that one day, I’ll be able to publish my music onto music streaming platforms! I think it’d be cool.

I also want to state something else.

Once Fox Fighters releases, all FLPs will be able to be downloaded (for free!) to be used if you want to study how I made the tracks. They might not be the most complex pieces, but they get the job done. I’m also having a BLAST composing.

I have been avoiding my spreadsheets (partially because of procrastination, partially because of composing) but I plan to eventually get them done.

Woah? Some gameplay for Fox Fighters?

Currently it’s just a bit of a walking simulator (and a short one at that) but I hope to eventually change that :P

Also, on another note… might redo the main theme. I just… don’t really like it now.

I think I have finished the track! The song is called Curious Beginnings, and I’ll upload it to the music player once I get two or three other tracks out, the place where you pick your characters, the town, and a shop.

How’s the art and visualizer?

Key item tune! Waiting on composing a song fit for royalty first before uploading this track. There will be castles in the game, and of course monarchs.

Due to… recent controversies of someone, I might have to change one of the bosses.

However, if the person in particular is innocent, the boss will not be changed.

Here’s what their attacks would do.

The first inn is done! Mostly. Probably needs a track and some more stuff, but that’s done. Now I gotta do… everything else in the first town.

I also realized that if I’m bored, I can add random stuff because why not! As you might see.

Decided to do some world building stuff today! Will probably do more in a bit.

Testing out random variables and events with conditional flags!

Making an overworld map and some funny stuff for a demo in the future. No idea when the demo will come out though.

Guys I think something’s changed with my Humble Town theme, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
