I’m so excited for this year to come! So many things that are just waiting to happen!

I’m actually planning on leaving high school this year and enter into the big bad world! Even though it’s scary, and I’m absolutely terrified of changing my routine that I’ve had for so many years of my life, I’m still excited for this.

I know I’ll have to find a job to get some sorta income. I don’t think I can continue to do what I do currently if I don’t get paid in some sort of way. but a fun fact about me is that I’m horrible with irl socialisation, so finding a job that has minimal human interaction would be very difficult. I might try to join a little game studio, or do some freelance stuff, I’m not sure what I’m going to do, but I’ll figure something out.

Of course, for this year and probably many more I’ll continue do what I do, I love drawing and helping out with other peoples projects brings me joy, so obviously I’m going to continue doing this for a long time.

I was also thinking of buying a mic at some point this year, so I could do voice over for some videos on my YouTube channel. I’ve always wanted to make proper videos that aren’t just time lapses of some drawings I liked, so I’m hoping this year will be the year that I actually start doing this!

I might also finish one of my games that I have started… it’ll be easier to finish GDO before ML:SW, since it doesn’t have any voice acting needed. it’s less lore filled, and generally just a smaller game. Of course I’ll continue to work on ML throughout the year, I’ll do little lore drops here and there, you never know, you might finally find out something big that’s to happen during the game!

Oh, one last thing! If you know of the story I’m writing and posting on Unvale then the name ‘Dear Master’ will ring a bell. I’m planning on finishing the first draft by this year, then I’ll tweak things to make it perfect and perhaps I’ll publish it as a physical book…? I know a few companies that can do this, and I would love to make this story be able to sit on people’s shelves. But who knows! I might or might not do this! You’ll never know until I decide!

This next part is more serious than what I normally talk about, so read it only if you want.

This year has been… well it was something… lots of ups and millions of downs, but I’ve tried to stay positive, even though it was incredibly hard.

I know several of youse haven’t had a good year, heck, I haven’t either.

No matter what’s happened, life doesn’t seem to stop to let you comprehend what’s happened, and I know it’s tough, actually, for some people ‘tough’ doesn’t even begin to describe what they’re feeling.

What I’m trying to say is… life hits you at the most unexpected moments. You can be literally just waking up one morning, and you get told something you never wanted to hear, even if you knew it was going to come one day, you still get that moment of shock where life just hits differently.

So, yes, I know for many people the word ‘tough’ doesn’t even scratch the surface of what’s actually going on.

No matter what’s going on, I hope you can find something that makes you happy for this new year :D
